I’m running my ‘Session 0’ for a new group of DnD players on Sunday and decided to do a quick redesign of the current 5e character sheet. The idea was to group relevant info into sensible areas that focus on roleplaying / stats and skills / combat / and special abilities. I also wanted to lay out the stats and skills in a way that would make it easier for new players to tell which skill is tied to which stat.
